On July 16, 2006, Mark's family was involved in an auto accident in Guaymas.  Tragically, his wife Adele died of her injuries in the accident and both of Mark's sons were seriously injured.  We are pleased to hear the boys are recovering from their injuries. Beaches

Beaches in Mexico are public property and are considered to be in a federal zone.  Numerous public beach access points exist so please respect the rights of home and business owners in these areas.  More popular beaches in the San Carlos area with access points include:

Catch 22 Beach (Los Algodones):  Access north of San Carlos Plaza Hotel and Convention Center-Great Windsurfing!
San Francisco Beach:  Access east of Fiesta Hotel
Frenchies Cove:  Access to the left past El Mirador RV Park

Check with your hotel desk, dive shop or charter boat operator for directions, maps and current conditions in these areas and for other areas only accessible by boat.
